*Graduate School and department rules require students to maintain continuous enrollment (3 hour minimum) in CAHA 699 until graduation. Graduation takes place following completion - and defense of - the dissertation.
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is expected that students will enter the program with a minimum of 30 relevant semester hours from a previously-completed Master’s degree. Students with academic credit deficiencies - prerequisite content or required credit hours - will be expected to take additional coursework outside of the planned program schedule.
- Students will need to pass the candidacy examination prior to being advanced to candidacy.
- The program will encourage students to begin to read, think, and plan for their dissertation research early in their program. All students must complete a minimum of 15 semester hours of dissertation work, and successfully write and defend a dissertation.
